Objective Old Grol
The purpose of this website is to collect and publish information about the Grolloo of yesteryear.
Old Grol aims to reflect the history of the village. Within the concept of the history of the village we recognize, among other things:
- The development of the village and its surroundings;
- The residents or occupancy history;
- Events, large or small, that have been decisive for the village;
- Notable events or stories;
- Stories about specific people or families;
- Club life;
- Business, including dairy history, agriculture and the middle class;
- The school and the church;
- Grolloo in the Second World War;
- The Grollerholt.
